Clear bright yellow color with a modest foamy white head, doesn't last but does manage a bit of lacing.
The aroma is light sweet malt, a hint of caramel, grapefruit and pine.
The taste is grapefruit and pine resin, light caramel and earthy sweet malt. The finish is dry with lingering pine.
The body is light/medium, fairly smooth with moderate carbonation.
Altogether an enjoyable but modest IPA, mild bitterness, easy to drink and refreshing.

Pithead West Coast Style IPA pours a brighter yellow, with a big, quickly dissipating head. Aroma is very earthy. Flavor has lots of earth, bitter, with a thick malty/grain flavor and body. Good body and feel.
