American IPA has a thick, off-white head and a generally-clear, orange appearance, with bubble streams and heavy lacing. The aroma is of sharp hop oils and yeasty white bread. Bitterness is strong, but not harsh. The body is high medium, and American IPA finishes dry.

Poured from a can. Caramel in color with a good sized head and lacing. Smells of pine, malt and caramel. Flavor follows the smell. Comes together nicely, refreshing and enjoyable.

Appearance: The body is moderately hazy and deep orange, with a small, dense, off-white head with superb retention throughout. Thick, irregular and profuse lacing adorns the glass wall. Beneath the surface, there are massive storms of small, fast-rising bubbles.
Aroma: Moderate pine notes and pale malt with white bread notes dominate the aroma.
Taste: The taste begins with moderate pine notes, these carry throughout the taste. Mild caramel malt rides beneath the hops, but plays only a supporting role. Finishes with a mild, slightly spicy pine hop flavor/
Mouth feel: Full and soft, with mild carbonation to add interest.
Drinkability/notes: Pleasant and very drinkable, a decent example of the style.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

From the can in the 2022 Aldi Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a hazy amber color with a nice off-white head that slowly reduces as you enjoy it. Some lacing evident. The nose gets a citrusy and spicy dose in the nose, followed by a light, slightly watery feeling, citrusy brew.
