Appearance: hazy (of course golden orange in color, with a large, coarse snow-white head, with very good retention. Scattered, patchy lacing adorns the glass wall. Beneath the surface, parches of fat bubbles cling to the glass wall, while innumerable streams of small bubbles drift lazily to the surface.

Aroma: Citric, primarily grapefruit hops dominate, with lesser spicy notes, against bread malt and some earthy yeast.

Taste: Opens with a wave of citrus hops, primarily grapefruit and lemon. The malt presents as a backdrop to the hops, offering a muted white bread presence. Later in the taste, there is a gentle warmth from the six percent ABV alcohol. Late in the taste, there is a mild sweet and tart flavor, which plays of well against the citric hops. Mild, earthy and medicinal bitterness lingers on, well past the end of the taste.

Mouth feel: Soft, full and very pleasant, with just a bit of soft carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: Pleasant, well-crafted, and very drinkable, Despite the liberal use of hops, it is well balanced.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Hazy IPA has a thick, spongy, off-white head and a hazy, golden appearance, with heavy lacing. The aroma is of musty, yeasty bread. The flavor is fruity, with white bread, low bitterness and sweetness. Hazy IPA has a medium body and a dry finish.

Poured from a can. Hazy and orangish in color with a good sized head and some lacing. Smells of citrus with earthy tones. Flavor is similar to the smell, standard hazy Ipa.

From the can in the 2022 and 2023 Aldi Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a hazy light amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces as you enjoy it. Some lacing evident. The nose gets a citrusy and spicy dose in the nose, followed by a light, citrusy brew.
