Appearance: A hazy yellow-brown body is topped by a snow-white cloud-top head. with moderate retention. The haze is sufficient to make it impossible to see through the glass, although light passes through it readily. At the narrowest point of the glass, fine streams of minute bubbles are evident. Thick, sticky lacing clings to the glass wall in large patches.
Aroma: Tropical fruit notes are quite evident, with pineapple, orange, and mango being the most prominent. There is also a decent note of pale malt, offering a white bread aroma.
Taste: On tasting there is a surge of orange, pineapple, grapefruit and lemon. As the taste progresses, a moderate herbal bitterness comes on, offering a balance to the fruit flavors. Later still the pale malt finally presents, offering a bit of white bread. As the taste draws to a close, there is a mild surge of herbal bitterness, causing the sweetness to fade away. The bitterness lingers on, but only mildly.
Mouth feel: Soft and full, very pleasant, with the slightest bit of carbonation to add interest.
Drinkability/notes: A really nice example of the use of citric and tropical flavored hops. As Autumn finally makes herself known, the fruit flavors recall Summer.
Presentation: Packaged in standard twelve ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Poured from a can. Hazy and orangish in color with a good sized head and lacing. Smells of tropical fruit and a slight sweetness. Flavors of hops, tropical fruit and ends with a slight bitterness. Good

From the can in the 2022 and 2023 Aldi Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a hazy amber color with a modest white head that slowly diminishes. The scent is citrus over malt. The taste follows the nose with a citrus flavored malty brew.
