Appearance: Clear, deep copper-colored body is surmounted by a thick, somewhat coarse head with good retention. Belgian-style lacing adorns the glass wall. Profuse streams of minute bubbles race to the surface.
Aroma: The aroma is reminiscent of rustic brown bread slathered with caramel, and some roasted nuts.
Taste: The taste begins with toasted malt, soon followed by a slight nutty character and brown bread. Caramel is present, as well, though not as pronounced as in the aroma. The taste draws to a close with an earthy note and some wood.
Mouth feel: Pleasant, full and soft, with a slight sting of carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: Very drinkable, this would be a pleasing, everyday drinker, and a decent session selection, with its restrained ABV of 4.5%.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Bock Beer has a thick, ivory head and a clear, copper appearance, with a few lazy bubbles, suspended sediment, and some lacing. The aroma is of brown bread crust and caramel. The flavor is similar, with low bitterness and some sweetness. Bock Beer has medium body and a crisp finish.

Poured from a can. Brown in color with a small head. Smells of bread, malt and hints of nuttiness. Flavors of bread, nuts, all behind a sweet malt backbone. Smooth and enjoyable

From the can from the Aldi Beer Advent Calendar 2022, it pours a lovely clear light brown with rose highlights with a modest light brown head that soon reduces to a thin layer. Scent is light roasted malts with caramel. Taste follows nose, with the light earthiness coming through.
Not a bad brew, but I would describe it as something OTHER than a Bock due to it's modest strength.
