Belgian Style White Ale has a thin, white head and a semi-clear, bubbly, golden appearance, with some suspended sediment and a bit of lacing. A descending cloud and tan yeast chunks appear, following the "swish & pour". The aroma is of spiced white bread, coriander, and lemon. The flavor is similar, with sweetness and low bitterness. Belgian Style White Ale has a medium body and a dry finish.

Appearance: Hazy pale golden in color, with a modest, dense and persistent, fine-beaded cloud top head, Belgian-style lacing adorns the glass wall, as expected. Numerous small streams of bubbles drift lazily to the surface, entrancing to behold.

Aroma: The nose offers a good bit of wheat malt and orange rind, but coriander dominates, by far. There is a mild herbal hop presence, almost understated.

Taste: The taste begins with strong flavors of coriander and lesser medicinal and herbal hops. There is also a subtle note of orange rind. Bready wheat malt provides an undercurrent for the taste, throughout. Late in the taste, there is a lingering medicinal bitterness.

Mouth feel: Smooth and pleasant, full, with just a hint of carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: Not bad, overall, I have had better examples of the style, but I would say it is alright.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served a La Fin Du Monde tulip. Beer number three in the Aldi 2022 Beer Advent Calendar.

Poured from a can. Straw in color with a large head and lacing. Smells of bread, malt and a hint of lemon. Crisp, refreshing with flavors of bread, cracker and lemon. Comes together well.

From the can in the 2022 and 2023 Aldi Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a hazy light amber color with a modest white head that lasts a while. The nose gets a very pleasant spice with light malt. The mouth gets the same - definite Belgian White ale spices included, possibly a bit much, some bitterness and a light malt.
