Hefeweizen has a very thick, creamy white head, with a hazy, bubbly, gold appearance, and heavy lacing. A descending yellow-gray cloud appears, following the "swish & pour". The aroma is of white wheat and slight banana. The flavor is the same, with coriander, more banana and bubble gum. Hefeweizen has a medium body and a mostly-dry finish.

Appearance: Slightly hazy golden-yellow in color, with a large, fine-beaded white head with excellent retention. Small bubbles race to the surface in profuse streams, while patches of bubbles cling to the glass wall beneath the surface. Delicate Belgian-style lacing adorns the glass wall.
Aroma: Mild fresh bread aroma, with some grassy hops. No banana or clove notes are present.
Taste: Begins with pleasant bread malt notes and a little malt sweetness. As the taste progresses, grassy and then metallic hops appear. The hop notes dominate the last half of the taste, and linger on well past its close, although there is a brief moment of sweetness late in the taste.
Mouth feel: Soft and pleasant, with a little sharp carbonation, the body seems a bit thin.
Drinkability/notes: Pleasant and drinkable, inoffensive and unremarkable. It seems quite appropriate to a hot summer day.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip. Beer number one in the Aldi 2022 Beer Advent Calendar.

From the can in the 2022 and 2023 Aldi Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a nice white head that slowly reduces as you enjoy it. Some lacing evident. The nose gets a slightly bready scent with banana and clove notes, followed by a slightly sharp bite of hops and a slightly watery brew.
