Appearance: Pours a medium golden color, verging on orange, with a bit of haze. The snow-white head is small and fine, and soon dissipates to a scattering of foam on the surface. The lacing is quite thin, but glass-coating. Fat bubbles are scattered sparsely about the glass wall, beneath the surface.
Aroma: The aroma is of lightly sweetened white bread and earthy yeast, with some slight grassy hop notes.
Taste: The taste opens with a strong white bread malt note. There is a moment of sweetness, rather ephemeral, then a surge of earthy yeast and rather bitter medicinal hops. This last carries the taste to a close and beyond.
Mouth fee: Soft, smooth and remarkably full.
Drinkability/notes: Really quite good, it greatly exceeded my modest expectations.
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Blonde Ale has a thick, off-white head and a somewhat hazy, golden appearance, with some lacing. The aroma is of a somewhat funky yeasty spiced white bread, with a similar flavor. The bitterness is low. Blonde Ale has a light-to-medium body and a dry finish.

From the can in the 2022 and 2023 Aldi Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a clear light yellow color with a quickly dissipating white head. Lacing. The nose gets a very light scent. The taste, also light, is lightly malty.
