Poured from tall can into IPA glass.
Looks: Pours a super hazy golden yellow with a MASSIVE, super foamy, 4-finger head that lingers as a half-finger layer and leaves LOTS of lacing on the glass. Wow. A fair bit of sediment settles at the bottom too, which I like.
Smells: Creamy peach, passionfruit, light citrus (citron and clementine), light pine, and a faint bit of funk.
Taste: Basically follows the nose, a bit less peach and a bit more citrus and pine. A bit more bitter than it lets on, too, but only because the nose was so big and fruity that it would be easy to miss. The sour funk and the bitterness are perfectly balanced, coming and going in tandem and creating this really interesting hybrid flavour that's neither discernable as one or the other. Like, I can't tell where the bitterness ends and the sourness begins. They're married. It helps that neither element is that strong- if you removed the sour part this would be a somewhat weak IPA, and if you removed the hops this would be a somewhat weak sour. But the combination is at the perfect level and compelling. I wish more of the fruit in the nose came through- a fruited version (especially peach or apricot) of this would be insane.
Feel: Medium, creamy body, effervescent carbonation, a real pleasure to drink.
Overall: Way better than I was expecting. Not the best IPA I've had this year, but in my top 5 for sure. I'll be keeping an eye on this brewery.

Sour with hops. On tap at ile sauvage. A little head. Spices between sour up front and long hoppy finish. Collaboration with Dageraad.
