This milk stout is "on fire" and is packed with enough raspberries, amburana wood and ABV to put "Another Nail in your Coffin". Things on Frankfort Avenue are "Heating Up" so cross-over those tracks and treat yourself to this one of a kind brew.

Bourbon barrel milk stout, barrel aged with Four Roses bourbon barrels.

Label says 22 ounces but it's a 500 ml bottle. Purchased at the brewery about a month ago. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like raspberries, along with some vanilla, bourbon, cream and roasted malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some woodiness and earthy flavors. All the flavors seem to mesh well too without any one flavor overwhelming the others. Wish the barrel had more of a kick here, but that's a minor issue. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, recommend it to those who like raspberry stouts!
