Poured from a pint can, canned on 9-22-22
On the pour, a cloud of raging fine carbonation formed and created a very fine, white 1 finger head. The body is a golden straw with just a touch of hazy. Head retention is good and leaves a touch of lacing.
Aroma is light and clean with a touch of crackery malt, and maybe a hint of corniness. A very light fruity esters is present but it is barely detectable.
Taste is quite attenuated, and a lot of the malt character is replaced with a dry and light fermentation. Maybe a touch tart, but nothing like any macro malt liquor.
Feel is fizzy and attenuated. Not super dry, with a definite mouthcoating fullness, but in no way does this feel syrupy. Almost feels more like a sparkling wine.
Overall this is my first craft malt liquor and to be honest the style and abv scared me a bit, but honestly this is a nice domestic strong lager.
