It's a sweet Hazy IPA loaded with 8 varieties of hops: Simcoe, Ekuanot, Mosaic, HBC 630, Loral, Citra, Sabro, and Ahtanum. This one is for a cause that is a bit personal. Here's the story:
My father in Law passed away from complications associated with ALS in June. He was, and is, one of the most resilient, patient, and capable men I know. He was a man who worked within his limitations to excel. In that sense, he broke more boundaries than I am ever likely to. On the day he was diagnosed, he told his wife that he didn’t know how to handle the news. A sentiment that was rare for him. They decided together that they would take it one day at a time and celebrate each day as it went. And so, at the end of each and every day, they raised a glass and said, "Here's to the Day". I hope you’ll raise a glass as well. ALS is a crippling disease with no known cure. We have partnered with Ales for ALS to make this beer and donate a portion of the proceeds to research into this heartbreaking disease.
