From a 16oz can filled 24JAN24, a gift from daughter Caitlin from a VT visit last fall. Enjoying out in The 'Zebo on a gorgeous Independence Day...
Pours a clear, rich, medium amber color. Has slow, sparse carbo within while up top sits a creamy, light tan covering layer of suds. Lacing left behind is solid. Nose is malty, with caramel and brown bread present. Body is medium, with a mostly smooth feel going down.
Flavor has light sweetness with a hint of caramel and more brown bread. Has intimations of orange and dates, and a suggestion of candi sugar and spicy action in the dry, flavorful finish. Tasty!!
