Pours an effervescent cola/chestnut color with one finger of tan head. Minimal head retention & lacing
S: Brown sugar, toffee notes
T: A little coffee, dryness. toffee &some woody hops up front. Roastyness, char, some coffee notes as this beer warms up, plus more woody hop notes & some cocoa mixing in with the dryness. Finishes dry, roasty with woody hops & cocoa
MF: Medium body, pretty firm carbonation. Carbonation smooths out once warm
Rock solid porter that is easy to drink

Pours black with two fingers of khaki foam. Poor head retention. Aroma is toffee, bread, and caramel in a malt-centric nose. Flavor profile is toffee mingled with bread, oak, and caramel. While malty, it's not quite as smooth as the nose. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is semi-soft that falls a little flat. Overall, malty bomb that's a touch flat in terms of texture and spark.
