Far from a patio pouder, this beer is best enjoyed on a cool day, served in a Belgian tulip glass and shared with friends.

Hazy mahogany brown color with a modest but lasting off white head and some decent lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, figs, raisins and a touch of alcohol.
The taste has touches of pumpernickel bread, figs, dates, plums, raisins and apples, slightly sweet and very fruity.
The body is medium/full, good carbonation level, very smooth and dangerously drinkable. Altogether, this is a very pleasant and tasty brew, great for after dinner sipping or sitting around a fire on a cold day, but enjoyable anytime.
