We took our Belgian Tripel and aged it in former Wild Turkey Barrels to give it a spicy honey finish. Much like it's original incantation this beer is deceptively smooth and very well balanced. the nuanced flavors peak as it reaches 50 - 55 degrees. If you find yourself wanting more, you might discover what's beyond the gap.

Clear bright amber color with a modest but lasting off white head and some decent lacing.
The aroma is Wild Turkey Bourbon diluted a bit by some light caramel malt.
The taste is spicy Wild Turkey bourbon up front, then some fruity notes of figs and raisins, a light touch of caramel and brown sugar. The finish is dry with a return to the spicy rye from the Wild Turkey.
The body is medium, good carbonation level, very smooth and dangerously drinkable.
Altogether, this is a very nice Tripel (with quadrupel octane level). Very smooth and tasty with just enough alcohol warmth to be very pleasant and the spicy bourbon to be a real treat. This should be a great after dinner sipper or a cool weather warmer anytime, outstanding.
