Pours an effervescent chestnut with one finger of tannish head. Below average head retention & above average lacing
S: Loads of coffee, traces of cinnamon, deduction for not smelling like a brown ale, otherwise, great nose
T: Follows the nose, roasty, dry and trace chocolate up front. Some nutty notes fight through the coffee, cocoa & cinnamon, with a little bite of woody hop profile as well once warmed up. Finishes pretty dry/roasty with coffee aplenty & some woody hops
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation
Not a fan of these hybrid/adjunct beers, but this is plenty easy to drink in this cooler weather. Not one I'd pull the trigger on again though. Delivers on the promised goods. If you love coffee beers, this might be you
