Located in downtown Webster Groves, this is a pretty classy place on the inside but still a cool vibe. No coasters but white paper napkins. Fun rock music over the speakers. Good, wide selection of beers with the option of five ounce pours. And the five ounce pours are generous. Service was prompt at the bar on a busy day when there was a festival outside. The beer (like most Perennial beers) were really good.

My wife and I stopped here to have dinner and to explore their beers. It was mid-afternoon on a Friday and starting to get busy so that the hostess seated us with the intent that we'd be done before the reservation crowd began to arrive. So if you're reading this and want to visit this place during a probable busy time, check out if reservations are needed.
The brewery is located along a busy retail street among other businesses, and occupies the section of the building that is entered at the rear of a courtyard. The interior is a large open space, but something about the taproom reminded me of an old-time neighborhood bar, regardless that the ceiling/roof was 25 feet above. I liked the vibe. Regardless that the place was getting busy, the service was very good.
The beer menu had 15 available plus 6 in bottles/cans and 3 ciders or seltzers. We ordered 5 ounce pours of 6 beers to try to evaluate the overall beer quality. Each was served in an appropriate glassware style. We gave all of them at least a B grade, and the Abraxas was the top scorer. Violet Moon and Rebel Oakes IPA were notable.
The food was off the lunch menu (it changes at 4 pm) and I thought the offerings were a little upscale for a brewpub. What we ordered was very good. The bar offers cocktails and wines if someone is not a beer lover. I was impressed with the beer and food, and highly recommend this place for a visit.
