Poured into a Unibroue tulip from a 500ml bottle. Thanks to my friend Dallas for bringing this one back from Bavaria. Best by date of 8/31/10. Off-white head atop a cloudy, ruby body. Soapy, thin lacing slides all over the glass with some sticking to the sides. Aroma is dominated by over ripened bananas and maybe a bit of candi sugar. Really can't find fault with this beer. Authentic in taste, delicious balance of flavors, from banana to clove, just the right about of malt sweetness. Great dunkel.
