It's good to see the remnants of this industrial wasteland getting some use as this functioning brewery, bar, casual eatery and event space attempts to fill an absolutely massive warehouse.
The service floor is so big there are sections of full picnic tables so far apart that Urkel would have trouble tossing a ball from one to the other. And even those are a little walk to the bar. The bar itself seems huge, but something about it makes it feel tight. Not only are there way more stools pulled up to it than there should be--I imagine to allow people to snag them and move them around the empty floor as they wish--but they are super tightly packed together. The bartenders utilize the full space, but it seems like they're never not in front of you, which is very odd for the size of it. There are some TVs behind and elsewhere featuring the sport of the day, then a performance stage, as well as some arcade games towards the entrance. There's also a full ass hot dog food truck just permanently parked just before the cabinets. I'm not sure how they get away with that, but I suppose the space size doesn't hurt.
The taplist is fairly quaint compared to the physical size of the place, but offering more variety than I ever realized they produced. Having been thoroughly turned off by their lager in the past, I passed on by the brewery several times in favor of patronizing Noble Creature, but a friend had us pop in this time and I was pleasantly surprised by the Oktoberfest.
All these different features and it still feels empty. That said, I've seen the parking area and sidewalks quite packed with people leaving YSU games, so I imagine in such scenarios it fills in well.
