Light golden color with white head. Aroma is faint. I guess a little bready and floral. Taste is bread and roasted corn. Body is on the fuller side for a pilsner. Not a standout pilsner but not a bad beer overall.

Pours a light gold with a massive frothy head that lasts - nice lacing.
Smell: Perfumey, some lemon - overall nice aromas that are more predominant than most pilsners I have tried.
Taste: Light body, slightly sweet on the side of the tongue. Nice balance between the malt and hops. I think noble german hops were used here.
Overall a very refreshing Pils that is not too bitter - a perfect summer quaffer.

12oz can, stange glass, best by 2/16/23.

Beautiful pilsner gold with a rocky white head.

Grain and herbal, leafy hops. It’s a bit reserved, but I bet that’s just that it’s past the best by.

Rich, but light. Great grainy malt and grassy hops. Still some herbal notes as well that influence the finish.

Medium-light body with nice carbonation, crisp and bitter.

No wonder lager was taking over before prohibition!

Pours a fairly bright gold with a thumb of eggshell colored head. Above average head retention & lacing

S: Soapy & perfumy hops, some grainy notes

Follows the nose, grainy bitterness, sweet breadyness, some grassy & lime notes as well up front. Bready & lemon notes as this beer warms, along with a little grainyness & soapy hops along with dryness as this beer warms up. Finishes dry, grassy with a little grainy & bready sweetness, plus a touch of soapyness

MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation, pretty good balance

Drinks super easy, very true to the style, solid take on the style

12 oz can best by 2023-02-16. Clear deep straw color with a foamy white head that quickly receded to a thin film. Virtually no visible carbonation. Freshly baked bread aroma. Doughy malt flavor carries through in the taste with some floral hop bitterness. Some corn-like adjunct is present, but it has the effect of nicely rounding out the body instead of being cheap filler. Crisp and refreshing despite the lack of bubbles. Hope this formulation sticks around and remains available!

Pours a slightly hazy golden straw color with a fluffy white head that sticks around as a modest cap on the beer and provides ample lacing. The nose is led by grassy noble hop aromas and a significant doughy bread note.

The taste is exquisite, with spicy noble hop flavors of straw and fresh cut grass commingling with that substantial doughy bread flavor. Surprisingly (to me) there’s very little sweetness, which I’ve come to expect in these pre-prohibition lager, and I think that decidedly works to this beer’s advantage, because I could crush this all day long.

The mouthfeel is very crisp, fitting the beer very well. This is truly a pleasure to drink, and a beer I’ll revisit.

12oz can (best by 09/01/22) poured into a pint glass shows a cloudy, pastel yellow gold body and briefly supports a fluffy 1" head of white bubbles leaving a clean glass behind.

Grassy, grainy aroma combines with corn in the taste and a slight CO2 bite.

Feel is sharp, plenty carbonated, and a nearly dry finish.

Overall a very beer tasting beer, but not to the better. It was perfect for a very warm day out on the golf course, though. Try a hot dog for a perfect match.

Pours a pale clear yellow, white head and some lacing,. Snot locker gets some grain, grassy hops, taste buds get that and some corn. Thin, light, lotsa carbonation. FYI, just so you all know, brewed by Metropolitan in collaboration with a direct descendant of Conrad Seipp.
