Clear dark orange-amber brew with a brief wisp of foam in the Brigand chalice. Interesting aroma of cooked wheat cereal with a touch of peaches. This could have more carbonation to lighten up the rustic thickish mouthfeel. Seems to be lacking in anything like a hop with the grainy taste dominating. It's an odd mix of fruit and woody characters. Actually quite sippable, but it's a mashup. A Kellerbier would be far from my mind in a blind tasting. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station.

Served in .5 liter mug. Poured a clean, clear light coppery amber color with 2 plus inches of white head (something of a hallmark for this brewery) that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma featured good grain and yeast, topped with floral hops.
Nearly identical on the tongue, with the hops having a touch of bite.
The body was smooth and even, with a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was good, the kind of beer you could down a few of.
Overall a nicely done and enjoyable beer. Worth your time if you see it.
