My first hoppy beer and ale at this brewery I visited on a hot day in early June 2023. I really dug the vibe and motif of the place. Amazing how in 2024 I'm still adding and reviewing this beer for this Next Glass database. Would have thought even a tiny bit of traffic through one of the less popular Next Glass databases would have had it covered by now.
Starts off announcing itself as a hazy pale ale appearance wise. That category isn't available here, but it is at other Next Glass owned databases. Murky orange. 1/6" head that vanishes. Its all uphill from here. Aroma smacked of Citra hops in a average quantity and quality way. Might be some El Dorado and/or Huell Melon in there as well.
The taste kept pushing the mix of a lower sweetness citrus flesh, melon. Wasn't really getting the hazy pale ale flaked wheat and oats thing. Did come across so much crisper than the appearance, even had me wondering if they had some Simcoe in here to brisk it up. El Dorado can do that too, so who knows, but I liked the beer and give the big powwow.
