It's rare for me to like a "Heller Bock", but this one is Hoppy enough to Balance out the sweeter Malt Base + it has a nice variety of Flavours.

Poured with a small head of foam that quickly dissipated leaving a small amount of carbonation that lingered on. Enjoyable Franconian Bock and easy to drink.

Half litre bottle, amber colour, clear, medium head. Smelled slightly grassy with some malt and a hint of clove at the end. Initially it tasted boozy and malty but it mellowed and offered hints of clove and banana, fairly long slightly bitter finish. Started lively but calmed down and was almost smooth at the end. Typical Heller Bock.
