Poured a pretty dark brown for an amber. Has some garnet highlights. Head was a creamy bone white and dissipated quickly.
Aroma is lemon and dill with some earthy notes. Corriander. Smells like a really nice dill pickle brine without coming accross as a pickle beer. Maybe a hint of sunflower seed, but that could be an impression given to me by the label. Some biscuity malt under the other aromas.
Dill, corriander, lemon, and buscuity malt. This is rather nice. The dill notes carry through the finish quite well too. Maybe a touch of an ashtray not hanging out in the finish. Some moderate sweetness throughout, but is cleaned up well by the bitterness in the finish of the beer.
Mouthfeel is a touch north of medium bodied with mid-light carbonation. Alcohol warmth is hardly noticed, if at all. Overall, mouthfeel is more substantial than I expect from most beers at this ABV.
Overall, this is a very nice beer. I would love some quality dill pickles to snack on while drinking this to lean into the hop flavors.
