Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into a medium tumbler. Purchased at a beer shop in Calgary. No date stamp on the can nor label.
The beer pours a bright clear golden color withfizzy bleached white head of about .5 cm. This foam rapidly fades to nothing.
Aroma is grainy cereal malt and some light white grape note mixing with mild grassy hops. Appealing nose with some depth.
First sip reveals a light body with crisp texture and fine tingly carbonation. Beer drinks easy on physical traits!
Flavor is similar to nose advertisements with some grainy and cereal notes mixing with a little white white note and also hints of grassy and herbal hops on the finish. There is a bit of general sweetness mixed in as well.
I am draining this can quickly as the beer is very drinkable and clean.
Glad I picked up this can at the shop, its a winner for me.

Pours a just short of clear golden with two fingers of tight bubbly white head.
Aroma of leafy, grainy malt with spicy and herbaceous notes, slightly floral.
Grassy, grainy on palate - mildly bitter with spicy herbal, and floral hops - balancing bready malt sweetness and a hint of minerality.
Medium full mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a lingering softly spicy, crisp bitterness.

Poured from a howler purchased at Collective here in Cowtown and tasted next to a can.
Cheers to Collective for getting this rarity on tap!
Appearance - Pours a hazy straw with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, floral, and herbal noble and saaz hops, lemon, straw aromas, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bitter grassy, earthy, floral, and herbal noble and saaz hops upfront. The brew then goes into the straw and lemon followed quickly by the bready malts and caramel. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp with a pleasant lingering bitterness from the hops.
Overall - A well executed triple decocted czech pilsner from Tailgunner. This one is highly sessionable yet very flavourful considering the style. This is probably one of Tailgunner's best beers to date because of the complexity of making this brew. A must try for those that are curious and want a pleasant drinking experience.
