One of our first and most beloved beers, dedicated to a dear friend and brother. Cancer Sucks. Steaming plum pudding with gooey chopped dates, the most familiar handsome face enjoying apple butter on over-toasted black bread, raising a glass together in and old seaside pub.

I ordered this on tap at their brewery. This is the second beer released by this brewery and it was really good.
Nice dark color, totally opaque. Head dropped off by the time it was served to me. Nice subtle bready aroma with some roasty goodness. Mouth feel was nice and smooth with a really nice, dry finish that enhanced the overall experience and did not overwhelm the beer. Tastes of dark roast-oatmeal goodness and breadiness. This is everything you want in a beer called a dry oatmeal stoudt. What is impressive in this second offering is its simplicity in style and attitude, but so satisfying and unbelievably not an IPA. Well done Troubles End! I will be back again and again for future offerings.
