Poured from a 1.9 L growler into a Troubles End pilsner glass.
Head was easily poured to two-finger thickness with strong lacing on the glass.
Color is dark straw and hazy/ opaque.
Aroma is full of hoppiness pineyness, and some sweetness.
Tastes of pine and some sweetness from pear (?) or something else not quite apparent, but nice maltiness at the end.
Mouthfeel is crisp, hoppy, with clean finish.
Overall, a nice drinking beer as I am always hunting for good pale ales. The aroma and hoppiness are inviting but the underlying sweetness is a little mysterious and not sure if it adds to the beer. I love this brewery and the type of beers they're putting out. Very different from what everyone wants in IPAs but every time i have a new offering, it makes you really think about what you're drinking while being pleasantly surprised by the beer itself.
Keep up the good work!!
