on draft at the brewpub - listed as "XXXXK Strong Mild"
I ordered a "half liter", but I was served (and billed) a "half pint", so a .25L glass.
dark brown in color, no head. aroma and flavor is a ton of rich malt that skews to fruitiness. a lot of plum and fig. taste is fairly sweet. medium bodied.

This is yet another offering from Troubles End as they work through this crazy time to establish their new restaurant and brewery and their own 'brand' of brews.
Poured from a 64oz growler into a stem glass.
One-finger head formed easily and dissipated quickly. Little bit of lacing on the glass.
Color is dark brown and opaque.
Aroma is fruity and earthy- hints of plum.
Tastes of plum and maltiness.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a strong malty backbone.
Overall, this is a pretty simple beer but a nice respite from hop-nation. Very drinkable and leaves you with a nice warm feeling deep down after having a couple of mouthfulls. Not their best offering right now on tap, but I am glad I got it and looking forward to finishing this growler on New Year's Eve!
