Troubles End Brewing

We've been good friends with the dreamy people at Second District in South Philly for years and after both of our brewers realized their 40th birthdays were within weeks of each other this long awaited collaboration came to fruition. Brewed with 100% Munich malt we added a big ol' heap of our house aged hops in the coolship then let it ferment warm on our lager yeast (weird) then conditioned it on our saison yeast at cool temperatures (weirder) for many moons. Rich, dry, refreshing and creamy all at the same time. We think it's glorious. A thick slice of rye bread crusted in caraway seeds sits on the butcher block next to a forgotten guava that's oh so ripe beautifully displayed in a wreath of spruce tips. Outside you lie in a bed of creeping thyme munching on a perfectly crisp, sugary pear remembering you need to buy more cherry throat candies.
