Engine 94 Imperial IPA

The big brother to our Packing House IPA featuring the same pine and resinous notes from the Simcoe hops but adding the slightly different citrusy flavors of Bitter Gold, Mosaic and Triple Pearl hops. Engine 94 is a double IPA with a robust body of pine and tropical fruits to start, then finishes with a high alcohol content excluding any residual sweetness. Drake’s Lumber Company was moving so much lumber through Kelsey City that a train was the only thing that could keep up, so Drake purchased his very own. The steam engine and tracks ran 25 miles through the pinelands and plantations along what is now Northlake Boulevard.
