A slightly different take on the classic West Coast IPA, this reddish copper ale incorporates more malt for a medium body texture with added caramel and toffee notes. Don’t worry, there are still plenty of piney, resinous flavors from Simcoe and Chinook hops while maintaining the tropical fruit aromas from Mosaic hops that IPA drinkers are accustomed to. When Harry Kelsey needed lumber to build his city he turned to Gaston Drake. Drake’s Lumber Company moved its entire operation from Miami-Dade County to build an enormous sawmill just outside of town. This mill went on to harvest over 3,000 acres of pine, providing finished lumber to Kelsey City.
