On-tap 1/20/2022 at the brewery’s taproom in Fall River, MA, served in a weizen glass.

A: The beer is a bright gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains lager yeast, light caramelized malts and some hops.

T: The taste starts out bready and sweet with a light malt character up front as well as lager yeast and some caramel flavor. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: Crisp and smooth, light body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not filling at all, mild kick, good representation of style. This is a solid beer to drink for a while.

Excited to finally try a beer from this brewery. I know Keith and I really hope this brewery does well. NO can date

Pours a light fizzy small head with med-low retention, a touch of lacing, quite clear straw to med golden color

Nose brings decent cereal grain and straw malt, fair pilsner malt, a little bready, fairly light on the malt overall, a bit of a fruity character a bit of apple ester but I don't think green apple acetaldehyde, light floral grassy hop, a bit of pilsner malt corn

Taste brings more of the malts and a bit more up front, cereal grain, a bit of grainy-sweet pilsner malt with some doughy characters, bit of straw, no corn, then hops kick in, med to a little lighter bitterness up front, herbal grassy slight spicy hops, a hint of sulfate in teh background, a touch of fruity ester note, more of the herbal spicy hops late with med bitterness, crisp pilsner bitterness

Mouth is med to lighter bod, crisp and soft lager, med frothy carb

Overall pretty good for a first pilsner, I think the fermentation may have been a touch too warm or quick as there's a bit of a fruity ester character, but nothing too bad, and could easily be fixed in the next batch. I would have liked the malt presence to be a bit more as well, but still a well done pilsner.
