Hank ’24, 13.9% ABV
We took our Belgian Strong Ale, first released in the summer of 2024, and aged it in bourbon barrels which previously held our Barleywine. We added red wine grape must from the Bowers’ family vineyard, Hank’s Hill. This vintage is named after their beloved family dog, Hank.

Dark Amber/gold, with a thin head and no lacing.
Aromas are laced with hints of turpentine.
Flavors of fermented crabapple, strange esters, a sort of sweet/sour flavor, like sour grapes and apple pie with interesting spices. A little antiseptic and boozy.
An odd strong Belgian beer.
