I’ve been to this place about a dozen times.
The namesake is the infamous historic flooding that happened during hurricanes Camille in ‘69, and Agnes in ‘72. There are even a few high water-mark signs and photographs around the building, formerly a grocery store as I recall.
They’ve expanded quite a bit the past few years, and can draw quite a crowd. They have live music on the weekends, and generally tend to bring in the better local bands with larger and loyal followings.
There is outdoor seating and activities as well.
There is food available and a decent variety of beer. Beer quality is decent as well, but has some room for improvement.

The place is very nicely laid out. They have continued to expand their seating under roof and outside areas. For a quite rural setting, they bring in a good crowd. Food was quite good as well from their kitchen. They also have a farm and organic market attached. Only negative is the beers are very pedestrian. They don’t really do any style I’ve tried at exceptional level thus far.
