The Brauerei Gasthof Reichold is a fairly large operation. There's the guesthouse with 27 rooms, the brewery, the kitchen, the outdoor dining and drinking areas that seat at least 108 people, the inside dining room that seats around 50, and an adjacent stellplätze (RV park) that can hold quite a few campers. Oh, and there's also a playground for the kids, and in-room massages if you so desire.
I've also seen a tractor driven cart that transports people back and forth but I'm not sure who runs that - it may be a brewery tour group as Brauerei Kathi-Brau and Brauereigasthof Rothenbach are just minutes away. It's also just 7 km from the 12th-century Schloss Greifenstein castle. That's a 7 minute drive or a 90 minute walk. This area is loaded with hikers and bikers touring around, so obviously the brauerei gets lots of visitors on weekends and everyday during the summer.
They produce four beers: lager, zwik'l, dunkel, hefeweizen. They are only available in one size, the half liter. When my wife and I arrived there were no seats available outside, and there were at least a dozen motorcycles parked off to the side with lots of people just standing in the sun talking and enjoying their beers. Being right on the main street that winds through town I felt that was a little weird but everyone was enjoying themselves and it seemed totally natural to them. One of the gentlemen pouring beer called someone over to help find us a seat, and when one opened up we were escorted over. The food is very good and inexpensive. Soup is around 3,50€, and you can get a basic schnitzel for 9€. I thought their beers were fantastic and if we weren't on a schedule I'd have stayed for more.
