At a hefty 7.3% abv, we feel this big lager is perfect for hanging by the fire pit or warming up after a chilly hike. Double decocted and made with Weyermann Specialty Malts beechwood smoked malt and some custom-made cherrywood smoked malt from our friends at Murphy & Rude, this doppelbock exudes luxurious maltiness and pronounced maillard flavors. The blend of smoked malts brings pronounced but approachable levels of smoke that seemingly dance out of the glass each time you go to take a sip. ‘Threadenator’ was hopped with Perle and Hallertau Mittelfruh for subtle noble hop character & fermented with the same Franconian lager strain you’ve heard our head brewer gush over.

We’re getting notes of bonfire, cherry pit, booze-soaked medjool dates, crème brûlée, woodfired sourdough and crisp morning walks around Bamberg.
