Served in a flared pokal at the Spirit Water taproom.
I don't get it, there was no sour cream, no bacon bits, no cheese, nothing to indicate the loadedness! Madness. Regardless, this stuff pours a clear sunset garnet topped by a small header of dirty white foam. The nose comprises mild grass, rye bread, and a hint of candied orange peel in the distance. The taste brings in more of the same, everything taking on a distinctly earthy character. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly drying finish. Overall, a nice little rye beer; I'm not entirely sure where the "loaded" aspect comes into things, but maybe it has to do with the amount of rye malt in the recipe, I dunno.
