Served in a flared pokal at the Spirit Water taproom.
Not gonna lie, this was the beer that got me the most interested in trying this place out, what with my propensity for chocolate-peanut butter combinations and whatnot. It pours a clear ... well, just clear. Imagine looking at a glass of Crystal Pepsi. Did NOT see that coming. The nose comprises cocoa powder, mild toasted peanuts, and a hint of vanilla. The taste brings in more of the same, tasting more like one of those frou-frou "gourmet" peanut butter cups you find for thrice the price of a Reese's pack. That isn't to say it's not good, just that it's not quite the expected flavor combo, it's pronunciations leaning in different directions than elsewhere's. The body is a straight medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slickly fluid feel. Overall, a tasty example of the PB cup beer, something you wouldn't expect from the tap water-looking glass before you.
