Copenhagen 7/4 2020. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaards web-shop. Red and purple label with ice hearts and stars to get me into a chummy Christmas mood.
Pours murky, unclear amber with a small white head. Settles as flimsy patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer - nor Adam's crotch for that matter. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor and a light sourness. Caramel, toffee and brown sugar. Grainy sourness peeking in.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by slightly stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sour undercurrent. Lingers for while. Semi-dry finish.
Damn ugly and a bit flat. But thanks for not overdoing it in Christmas spices.

Shared bottle at local tasting, probably from Voldby Købmandsgaard. Slightly hazy orange colour. Pleasant aroma with hints of oranges, notes of Christmas spices. Light bodied for its strength. Not too sweet, moderate Christmas spices, hints of oranges. Too moderate hops.
