Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice translucent dark red color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice creamy two-finger light tan head, which leaves a pretty nice medium size oil slick, and some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with some cherries, slight orange, with a pretty nice rye note, with some slight roastyness, kinda spicey. The taste is pretty nice malty, hoppy, with some cherries, slight orange, with a pretty nice rye note, with some nice roastyness, kinda spicey. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall this is pretty tasty. Worth checking out. A kinda different take on the style.

I don't know where they found the head brewer here but they NAILED IT. Im blown away by every beer which never happens. They take risks that are paying off gorgeously and this beer is no exception. TRY IT...My only complaint is that I cannot buy it in my town.
