Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice dark brown/black color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus tan head, which leaves a pretty nice medium size island, and some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice chocolate/toffee, slight cocoa nibs, vanilla, nice roastyness, licorice. The taste is pretty nice malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice chocolate/toffee, some cocoa nibs, vanilla, pretty nice roastyness, licorice. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall this is a pretty tasty brew. Worth checking out.
