Poured into a chalice a pretty nice dark brown/black color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger tan head, which leaves a pretty nice medium size oil slick, and some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is very nice, malty, hoppy, with a very nice dark chocolate/toffee, bourbon/oak, coconut, slight cocoa nibs, vanilla, nice roastyness, licorice. The taste is very nice malty, hoppy, with a very nice dark chocolate/toffee, very nice touch of bourbon/oak, very nice coconut note, cocoa nibs, vanilla, nice roast, licorice. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, nice little sweetness, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall this is a pretty tasty beer.
