Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice dark brown/black color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger tan head, which leaves some pretty nice oil slicks, and some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, kinda hoppy, with some pretty nice chocolate/toffee notes, cinnamon, slight roast, vanilla, licorice. The taste is very nice malty, kinda hoppy, with some very nice chocolate/toffee, cinnamon, roasty, vanilla, licorice. Medium body with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall this is a pretty tasty beer.
