The WK Kellogg Foundation published 'The Business Case for Racial Equity' that suggests by 2050, the U.S. stands to realize an $8 trillion gain in GDP by closing the racial equity gap. Advancing racial equity is a strategy for economic growth, not just a matter of social justice.

A beer that celebrates the potential of global economic growth by positively influencing five major pillars specifically for people of color; Healthcare, Housing, Education, Criminal Justice and Employment/Entrepreneurship.

Eradicating systemic racism is our collective goal. Our mission has always been about accomplishing racial equity in craft beer and the surrounding business that support the industry.

100% of the proceeds of this beer will be donated to organizations focused on driving sustainable change and create immediate actionable steps towards accomplishing racial equity around the globe.

Together, WE GOT THIS.

As you can see from the scoring here something doesn't add up. The pilsner is actually fine. Good quality in nearly all areas, but you can't "unsee" the ridiculous political and social justice blather in the mission statement that yammers on about racial equity and social justice jargon. Advice to any company that is trying to make a profit. Do what you do (in this case brew great beer), and keep a lid on your stupid activism. There are many great pilsners to choose from, and I won't be spending any future dollars on this enterprise. Crown & Hops apparently learned nothing from the multi-million dollar share price lost by the Mulvaney Bud Light ad campaign.

A: The beer is crystal clear golden yellow in color and has a steady column of carbonation rising from the bottom center of the glass. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grainy malts are present in the nose along with notes of grassy hops.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that that flavors of grassy hops are stronger than those of the grainy malts and the hops also contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, clean and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is some dryness in the finish.
O: This pilsner is very easy to drink and has a particularly nice mouthfeel.

Intrigued to try something from C&H given what I have heard. Cloudy golden body with a white head with lacing o plenty. Smells of white bread, grains, grassy hops. Taste has the hops be more of the herbal/vegetable variety with plenty of brght breadiness, grains, and lemon pith. Very clean, crisp, but has higher carbonation levels. Right on after mowing the lawn on a hot day

Part of a BrewDog variety pack. Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) into a Willi Becher pint glass; canned 09/03/20.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a three to four finger, foamy,-white head, more than a cap retention, and rings of sticky, fluffy lacing.
S: Aromas derived from grasses, lemon, an carnation.
T: Dry. Palate follows the nose closely. Solid bitterness with a crisp finish.
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: A very flavorful and approachable German Pilsner. Really drinkable and hit the spot.

From a 16oz. can purchased at the beer store.

My new favorite brewery. This one has the basic pilsner formula holding things down, but with just enough attention to the hops to keep things interesting. It's exactly what I like in a pilsner. Refreshing, but not too light, bready, or yeasty. Looking forward to the next one from C & H.

16 ounce can, BrewDog USA brewed, canned on 09/03/20. Served in a pilsner style glass, the beer pours a clear gold color with about an inch and a half white frothy head that stuck around for a very long time. There's a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like bready/grainy malt and some earthy/spicy hops. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also a bit of apple noticeable too. But for me I think the grainy flavor is the strongest. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall pilsner, certainly worth trying if you get a chance to!
