Awesome to find this black owned brewery on the shelves of my local Whole Foods. I'm not a big fan of hazy IPA's but I'm going to give this one a fair shake.
Appearance: Big creamy head
Smell: Orange, pine, lemon zest, fruit punch. Aroma is very juicy.
Taste: Not too bitter. more on the malty side which is characteristic of the lower abv hazy IPA's. Orange, fruit punch, lemon, a bit floral. Caramel malts.
Feel: Slightly chewy and thick,. I might be detecting some oat I'm not sure. Alcohol is well concealed. Clean malty finish.
Overall: A good interpretation of the style. Nice and full bodied. Would pair well with bbq ribs or chicken.
