Very nice looking Tang like orange profile. For the life of me I don't understand why breweries label an IPA hazy when it's barely hazy. (*immediate edit - I should have poured the whole beer out so that the Mosaic Lupomax could get in the mix.) That criticism aside this is a really nice output from Young Blood Beer Co. in Madison Wisconsin. Plenty going on in the nose. Rich, lush and dank tropical fruit. Pineapple ready to fall of the tree, papaya and juicy mango. That nose leads you right into the palate. As you bring the glass up to drink it's a perfect transition from aroma to taste. All that crushable fruit flavor with the rich hop power culminates in a malty, grilled pineapple of the pina colada variety. Feels chewy and lush on the follow through.
