Pours a simple finger's worth of bright white foam which sizzles off quickly enough, any lacing slides down the glass immediately. The liquid is translucently hazy, a bright golden yellow. There's an odd note of wet spent matchstick and hard salami to the nose before moving into more familiar lemon citrus, flower water, and peach, apricot, apple fruit scents, allowing it to warm does little to change things. Light-bodied with a tight weave, I'd offer that the carbonation is too strong for the primary material and it takes too much effort for the flavors to soak in. But the florality is pretty and there's nice supporting lemon zest and pine sap. Clean, all but devoid of dankness but there is a metallic earthiness. Apple, pear, melon to apricot fruit, light of touch. Not that easy to wrap you head around it because parts of it suggest a flawed batch but there's also ample evidence that it turned out as desired.
