Porter with Smoked Beechwood
They have a face that seems to be perpetually electrified aka Kyle's hair when he takes his dusty, sweaty Milwaukee Brewers hat off after a day on the brewhouse. We're deep in winter's embrace and let's face it, when the weather is chilly, we tend to reach for something warming and cozy. This porter is the definition of roasty and just holding it in your hands will warm you from the tips of your toes to the ends of your tousled hair. The piece de resistance is the addition of smoked beechwood to really bring home the cozy vibes.

Had on tap. Medium black body, beige finger of foam the falls into a ring. S mells of dark chocolate, expressive smoked malt, with light vanilla, and cocoa. Taste is roasted and smoky malt with bittersweet chocolate, dutch processed cocoa, with a finishing touch of licorice. Feel is roasty and earthy, with some booze leakage but still smooth, appropriately light and dry on the finish. This is a throwback that is worth a try, the best I have had from YB.
