Hazy IPA dry hopped w/ HBC 1019, Luminosa, and Galaxy.
A hazy IPA we brewed specifically for Wisconsin IPA fest hosted by Third Space Brewing Company. This grain bill is built upon a bed of extra pale pilsner malt and topped off with equal parts flaked wheat and rolled oats for a velvety smooth mouthfeel and soft body. In the kettle we wait to hop this beer until the whirlpool stage in order to subdue the bitterness, and retain the delicate essential oils present in the hops. This beer is fermented with a thoilized yeast strain in order amplify some tropical guava notes to compliment our dry hop selection. We judiciously dry hop this beer with an combination of Galaxy, Luminosa and an new experimental variety called HBC 1019. This amalgamation combine to deliver flavors of over ripe pineapple, yellow and pink starburst, and peach ring candies.
